Dr. Berkheimer is a general dentist who joined the WNCCHS team in 2016. She received a degree in biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and attended dental school at the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, graduating in 2000.

Dr. Berkheimer worked in private practice with a focus on pediatric dentistry for over 15 years prior to working at WNCCHS. She considers it an honor and privilege to work with the compassionate staff at WNCCHS and to help people in our community.

Dr. Berkheimer is currently completing a fellowship in pediatric dentistry at East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine, the Jasper L. Lewis Collaborative in Pediatric Dentistry.
