Mattie DeAngelis is a licensed clinical social worker associate who joined WNCCHS in 2022. She received her Master’s in Social Work at the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky.
As an undergraduate, Mattie studied sociology and gender studies; she also received a certificate in mediation and conflict transformation. Mattie utilizes a person-centered approach and strives to create a safe and compassionate therapeutic space.
She uses a variety of therapeutic modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution focused therapy. Mattie works with adults and families in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
