Since 2007, we have been at the forefront of offering high-quality health services that respect the dignity of each patient and recognize the unique health care needs of the LGBTQIA+ community.
WNCCHS primary care providers follow World Professional Association of Transgender Health (WPATH) Standards of Care and Endocrine Society Guidelines for gender-affirming care.

The cost of your appointment will vary based on your tier of our Sliding Discount program, your health insurance status, and the services provided. Your Sliding Scale tier is based on your income and family size.
We also have a Transition Assistance Program (TAP) income-based financial assistance for HRT available. -
Yes, we are accepting new patients at this time.
Please be aware that gender-affirming hormone therapy for minors is currently limited in North Carolina per House Bill 808. Minors who initiated gender affirming care prior to August 2023 can continue to receive hormone therapy and puberty-blocking medications, but new initiation of puberty blocking medications or hormone therapy is currently restricted for minors within North Carolina.
However, resources and information are available for families of trans youth who do not meet these criteria.
